Messages Stuck in your Quarantine Summary Report?
Lately I've had a few teachers email me about accessing emails that are getting stuck in their daily quarantine summary report junk email. To access your quarantine message center sooner than that daily email comes through click on the little blue "message center" in an old quarantine summary junk report email (see below).

Classroom Content Linked to your Website
Recently, I have had many teachers come to me about creating classroom websites to help improve their communication with parents/students. One of the major functions teachers want of their website is for classroom content/documents linked to their sites. I have personally shown many teachers how to use the "File Manager" function of their website, to upload documents to their site, but there is actually an easier way!

New Feature in GMail
You're probably used to downloading email attachments, but each of those files takes time to download, eats up space on your device, and can get buried deep inside your "Downloads" folder. With the most recent update to Gmail, you can skip that whole process. Instead, you can view attachments and save files directly to Google Drive without ever leaving Gmail, making it easy to access them later from whatever device you’re on—computer, phone or tablet.

Java Issue with PowerSchool
As you may or may not have heard, the latest version of Java breaks the ability to launch the Grade-book in Power Teacher. There is a fix coming from Pearson to allow the use of the latest version of Java, however for now the only way to workaround this issue is to uninstall the latest version of Java and install a slightly older version. Please follow the directions below carefully.
