Why Sign Into Chrome at School?

Why sign into Chrome at school? Watch below! (0:46)

**Alert: If you sign into Chrome at home your Chrome data such as your web browsing history, passwords, and other settings will become permanently tied to your rockyhillps.com email account. When asked if you would like to "Link your Chrome data to this account?" it is suggested that you chose "Cancel" and opt not to sign into Chrome at home. If you follow this suggestion your personal browsing history and passwords will not be tied to your school account. Basically...don't sign into Chrome at home.

The one "glitch" in this video clip is their reference to the wrench, which has been replaced by the three lines icon in the top right corner of your chrome browser page (see below). This icon is for users to be able to go to Chrome's settings.

You may now be asking yourself, "How do I bookmark a page?" In the top right corner of Chrome you will see a little white star (see below). Click the star to turn it yellow, which indicates you have bookmarked the page.

Want your bookmarks to display in the bookmark bar at the top of your page? Click the three lines icon and go to "Settings." Under the subheading "Appearance" check the box next to "Always show the bookmarks bar."
